More than fundraising

Why Yannick is committed
"I know from my own past how difficult it is to grow up with fewer opportunities and pains that you carry with you throughout your life. A child does not choose which family it ends up in. And yet that start often determines everything. This is precisely why I feel so strongly that we cannot let young people go. Without support, they risk being excluded, remaining insecure and stuck in the same pattern as their parents."
Finding balance
"Since the establishment of OVWB, I have been involved, first as a volunteer and later as a full-time fundraiser for a year. But that full-time commitment weighed heavily on me, including emotionally. That's why I've been combining my commitment part-time since May. This gives me space to keep my own balance while continuing to give my energy to what drives me most: giving children the perspective of a warmer future. "
Sustainable support together
